A top Black Country firm is investing in its future by taking on a team of apprentices as part of a recruitment drive.

Gravity Risk Services Ltd has recently taken on three new apprentices.

The three apprentices will all be working towards qualifications while working at the Stourbridge-based insurance brokers.

Josh Richards and Alice Maley, both finance assistants will be working towards their Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualification, while Luke Love starts on the Chartered Institute’s Apprenticeship programme.

The award-winning firm has also welcomed a new operations manager and claims handler to bolster the company’s workforce. They joined in September as part of a national expansion plan.

Apprenticeships are a growing way to invest in businesses and young people, equipping them with the skills they need and opportunities to learn.

In 2017/18, there were 814,800 people participating in an apprenticeship in England, with 375,800 apprenticeship starts and 276,200 apprenticeship achievements.
